Loyalty to Home Church:  We encourage VTeam participants never to leave a “vacant” spot in their home church, regarding any regular responsibilities to which they are committed.  We have discovered that most church leaders are supportive when church members participate in periodic mission venture, using their gifts and talents to advance the cause of Christ.

Prayer Support:   We encourage you to seek the prayer support of your pastor and home church, and we promise to keep you in our prayers.

*Understudy    -- From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
-- In theater, an understudy is a performer who learns the lines and blocking/choreography of a regular actor or actress in a play. Should the regular actor or actress be unable to appear on stage because of illness or emergencies, the understudy takes over the part. Usually, when the understudy takes over, the theater manager will make the announcement prior to the start of the performance.
