Try to imagine what it would be like, confined as a prisoner for two years, chained to a Roman soldier, and facing trial before a dictator who hates Christians, with a possible death sentence hanging over your head.  For Paul the apostle such confinement represented a marvelous opportunity for ministry.  He was a captive with a captive audience.

In his letter to the Philippian church Paul declares:  Now I want you to know, brother, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel, so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well-known throughout the whole Praetorian guard, and to everyone else…  [Phil. 1:12-13]

It is remarkable when you consider that the Praetorian guard numbered about 9,000 strong in Rome.  Paul was shackled to one guard after another.  While a prisoner, Paul witnessed to the Jewish leaders in Rome, the household of Caesar, the praetorian guard and all around the Roman Empire by the letters he wrote.

"As a Bible expositor and playwright, I cannot read these verses as simply facts and figures.  My heart and mind long to envision what it would have been like to be a guard, bound to Paul for hours on end.  As I prayed for insight, the Lord gave me a vision for this new drama.  So, You' re Paul opens a window on Paul's confinement.      – Dr. Niquette

The drama  So, You' re Paul presents a heartwarming message of hope shining through a dark, stressful circumstance.       Colorful characters, bits of humor and several unexpected moments will hold attention to the last note of the Finale.  This uplifting message is designed to encourage the hearts of all those who are going through difficult circumstances in our world today.
